I am Chen Jing (经宸; Jing is my family name), a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the ZJU-UIUC Institute (ZJUI), Zhejiang University. Currently, I am an undergraduate research assistant at the Physical Intelligence Lab, safely guided by Prof. Hua Chen and Prof. Liangjing Yang.
My research interests broadly lie in Embodied AI, Legged Locomotion, and Whole-body Loco-manipulation. Currently, I am exploring the synergy between physics-based simulation and real-world deployment. Specifically, my work focuses on:
Simulation & Reinforcement Learning: Implementing whole-body control and tracking frameworks within advanced simulation platforms, e.g., Isaac Lab.
Real-world Imitation Learning: Developing end-to-end data collection and policy training pipelines, e.g., Diffusion Policy based on UMI, for real-world robotic arms and grippers.
I am eager to bridge the gap between simulation and reality (Sim2Real) to enable robots with more agile and dexterous behaviors.
